During our stay, we stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms and it was very impressive with the result they achieved. Staying true to their 1950s founding and artistic roots, the architects aimed to embody this through a modern/contemporary design. Each room welcomes guests with a large marble bathroom designed with his/hers sinks along with a sperate tub and shower with a waterfall shower head that will melt any stress off your body.

A very exciting announcement that the Four Seasons Hotel Ritz Lisbon is currently constructing is the addition of an outdoor pool area. During our stay construction was busy at work building what will appear to be a beautiful outdoor space for guests. Not only a pool but also a pool restaurant/bar will complement guests' overall experience. Expected to be completed next year, we are excited to re-visit to highlight the new updates!

Of all the properties that we, at Connections by Avra, have visited and highlighted for our clients, the Four Seasons Hotel Ritz takes a controlling first place for their gym facilities. The rooftop was transformed into an outdoor track and also being equipped with stationary workout equipment. Waking up to a workout and taking in the fresh air while marveling at the best view the city offers is truly a surreal experience. It makes you want to get a sweat in the morning before breakfast! Ritz Bar

If you prefer to eat out in the city for a night, we highly recommend making time to meet at the Ritz Bar and try one of the monthly signature cocktails that is nothing short of a work of art and most defiantly a conversation piece. For example, Novembers' signature drink will celebrate the Hotel's 60th anniversary with a sparkling cocktail reminiscent of the hotel's opening party in 1959. A warm and cozy atmosphere wraps you in, a perfect start to a night in Lisbon.

Recommendations and Tips

Birthday Surprise!

During my stay at the Four Seasons Hotel Ritz, it was my birthday and the attention to detail was exceptional. I gave no warnings that it was my birthday but clearly someone noticed the date on my reservation and then communicated this to the staff. From the front staff, concierge, the main restaurant, the Ritz Bar, to the spa staff, they all wished me a happy birthday. In the Spa, they offered me a wrapped present with a handwritten card. As you can see from the photo above I walked into this beautiful display of champagne and cake. Additionally, the restaurant I ate at in Lisbon also knew it was my birthday thanks to the fine staff from the hotel.

If you want to treat yourself or a loved one to a great celebration for any important moment in your life by traveling to a beautiful coastal town, I highly recommend planning your special day at the Four Seasons Hotel Ritz. Their attention and communication were beyond expectations and as your travel advisor, we put fully our trust in this property to make any special moment in your life memorable. They certainly did for me.
